five things

One of the things I will be doing on the blog is to feature five local things to do for you around Vancouver every week!  Let’s get started …

1 | Anthropologie is a fabulously beautiful store with gorgeous clothing and housewares too!  They even carry a cute selection of kids stuffies and books.  Not sure what to buy for the next house-warming or hostess gift? You must stop in here!  Combine that fabulousness with Design Sponge, and you’ve got one superb Saturday event to check out.  This Saturday, from 5-8pm, check out the Book Signing and Craft event atAnthropologie South Granville.  RSVP!

2 | The Vancouver International Latte Art Competition is this Sunday at Vancouver Library Square at Robson & Homer.  Featuring FREE lattes, coffees and hot chocolate for the kids, check out the guest judged Latte Art, Tea Leaf reading and traditional tea ceremonies, plus a a live art show!  Visit the site for more info.

3 | Pottery Barn Kids carries some of the most amazing kids costumes at Halloween, and they’re in store NOW!  Some of their Halloween decor is currently up to 20% off!  Visit their Vancouver store at 2835 Granville Street.

4 | Bellies to Babies hits town this weekend as well, it’s a baby tradeshow for moms and moms-to-be to check out and learn about amazing products and services from around Vancouver!  Check it out this Sunday October 2, 11-4pm at the Croation Cultural Centre.

5 | I like to include a cool site too, from time to time, Vancouver Mom has been a favourite of mine since the moment I stepped foot back into the Lower Mainland as a mom this Summer.  It’s a fabulous site for learning more about local events and happenings around Vancouver for us moms!  Check it out and subscribe today.
